The BJP Quarterly app ceased publication in December 2013, and is no longer available in the App Store. All subscriptions have been fulfilled, and a notice explaining the end of publication was sent to users in late 2013.
As the app is no longer available to download, please do not delete it from your iPad – if you do so you may lose access to all issues.
We’re sorry that you’re having trouble with the BJP+ app.
Before going any further, please check that you have the latest version of the app – tap the App Store, then Updates – and the latest version of iOS – tap Settings, General, Software Update. We regret that we are unable to support readers using outdated versions of either the app or iOS.
Open the app, and tap Library. If this option is not visible, on the iPad press and hold the screen until it appears. On the iPhone, tap the screen, then the Home icon in the top left to show the menus. All free issues will be shown.

The feedback from our Quarterly iPad and ‘iPhone Edition’ apps showed us that not all iPhone users have iPads, but that many iPad users have an iPhone. As such, we’ve created subscriptions to suit both situations.
If you subscribe to the iPad edition, you’ll also get free access to all iPhone issues published during the subscription period. On the other hand, if you only have an iPhone, you can buy a cheaper subscription for that device only.
We recommend downloading issues only via a reasonably fast WiFi connection. iPad issues should take a few minutes. iPhone issues should download in seconds, and are small enough to download via 3G.
If your download completes, but the issue will not open – either you see an error, or a spinning wheel – then your iPad or iPhone lacks the room to unpack the issue’s contents for reading.
To check the free space on your device, tap Settings, General, Usage. Once you have made some space, please re-attempt the download. If this fails, the unpacking process could have corrupted the issue – please see Resetting the App below for help.
If you have previously bought issues or a subscription, but the issues do now show up in your Library screen, please tap the ‘Missing Issues’ button in the top left corner and, if prompted, sign in with your Apple details.
If all else fails, please follow these instructions to reset the app. The process should clear away any problems with downloaded data:
